1Dear friends, with great joy, we have the honor to introduce you to the Czech Republic, a country located in the heart of Europe. Compared with the centuries-long history of China, the history of the Czech Republic is quite young, but during this period inhabitants of the country have created remarkable architectural monuments, some of which are included in the UNESCO World Cultural Foundation. The historic center of Prague, Český Krumlov city, St. Barbara’s Church in Kutna Hora and others are on the World Heritage list along with the Great Wall of China, “Forbidden City”, the mausoleum of the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty and many others are the property of all mankind. The whole world knows such brands as “Pilsner Urquell”, “Velkopopovicky Kozel”, “Staropramen”, “Budejovicky Budvar”, “Krusovice” and “Bernard”.

Briefly about the Czech Republic

Czechia, the official name of the Czech Republic is a state in the Central Europe. It shares borders with Poland (border length 658 km) to the north, Germany to the northwest and west (border length 646 km), Austria to the south (border length 362 km) and Slovakia to the east (border length 214 km). The total length of border is 1,880 km. Contemporary Czech Republic was formed as a result of the break-up of Czechoslovakia (Velvet Divorce) on January 1, 1993. It includes such historical areas as ​​Bohemia, Moravia and part of Silesia. Since March 12, 1999 it is a member of NATO, since May 01, 2004 it is a member of the European Union. Last year “Economist Intelligence Unit” Agency placed the Czech Republic on the eleventh place in a ranking of the most peaceful countries in the world.

Prague is the city and the capital of the Czech Republic. The population is 1.8 million people. It is the fourteenth largest city in the European Union. Prague is located on the banks of the Vltava River. It is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Very often Prague and other cities of the Czech Republic become a place of filming of movies of many film studios of the world.
